BIS hallmark
The BIS hallmark is a system that provides certification of gold jewellery that indicates the purity of the metal. This certification authenticates that a piece of gold jewellery purchased, conforms to the standards as laid by the Bureau of Indian Standards which is the national standards organization in India. This hallmarking of gold jewellery was established in April 2000. The hallmark itself consists of BIS logo, a 3 digit number that indicates the gold purity, the logo of the assaying center along with the logo or the code of the jeweller and the code that indicates the hallmarking date. The BIS hallmarking has a high reputation among the jewellery trading industry in India, and is widely accepted by the consumers.

Gold Weight Variance
The gold weight mentioned on the website for gold jewellery and mounts may vary depending on the manufacture of the product. In case the customer receives a product of lesser gold weight than the value paid for, the company will refund such differential amount to the customer.
Advance / Part Payment
Virat Gold Place may, at its sole discretion, request the customer to pay a 25% of the value of the transaction as an advance at the time of placing the order. The balance payment for the order shall be paid by the customer at the time of delivery of the product.
Failure to pay the balance amount at the time of the delivery of the product shall be treated as a cancellation of the order. Any advance amount paid by the Member at the time of placing the order shall not be refunded by Virat Gold Place to the customer in the event of cancellation of the order for any reason whatsoever.
We as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever with respect to any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the authorization of any transaction being declined, on account of the cardholder having exceeded their pre-set limit.

Payment on Delivery
This facility shall not be available for delivery of items outside India. Further, no item can be bought for full amount of Payment on Delivery. (A) in case of the price of the item bought by the buyer, Advance being less than Rs. 10,000/- : Complete payment has to be Payment on Billing; (B) in case of the price of the item bought by the buyer, being Rs. 10,001/- to Rs. 25,000/-: at least 50% of the total payment has to be Payment on Billing; and (C) in case of the price of the item bought by the buyer, being Rs. 25,001/- to Rs. 2,00,000/-: at least 20% of the total payment has to be Payment on Billing;

Every electronically generated valid purchase order placed by the buyer for purchasing the items listed by the seller on the Website.

Cancellation order
Our customer can cancel the order placed within 24 hours of placing the order. We shall initiate the refund process once we have the cancellation request in written forum from the customer.
Any 20% amount paid by the Member at the time of placing the order shall not be refunded by Virat Gold Place to the customer in the event of cancellation of the order for any reason whatsoever.
Return policy
No returns or exchange policy for domestic / international transactions.
Some situations are however, beyond our control. They may be:

- The consignee/recipient of the product is not present at home
- Products being high value, if the consignee/recipient does not show their ID proof
Shipping policy
